Chalet Accommodation
The two-bedroom chalet features a balcony with garden views, a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove and fridge, a seating area, a smart TV, and free WiFi. The private bathroom has a gas shower. The chalet is off-grid with solar power and battery backup. BBQ facilities, outdoor fireplace, and outdoor furniture are available.
Dining Options
The on-site restaurant serves burgers with cheese sauce (by Stanley) but may not be operational during your stay. Guests are advised to bring all food supplies as the chalet has no microwave. The kitchen has cutlery and crockery for self-catering.
Leisure Activities
Guests can use the tennis court, mini golf course, hiking trails, and two swimming pools (one adult-only). The Utopia Nature Estate also has natural river dams for swimming, a play area for kids, a chapel, and picnic spots. Baboons, monkeys, and birds roam freely. Tennis equipment and putters are provided.
Location & Transport
The chalet is inside Utopia Nature Estate, about 30 minutes from Rustenburg and 1.5 hours from Sandton. It is 83 km from Lanseria International Airport and 35 km from Rustenburg Golf Club. The estate has a dirt road (first 100 meters are rough, passable with a small car). Free private parking at the chalet.
Guest Services
Host Anita checks in with guests before and during the stay. The property has 24-hour security, a minimarket on site, and free parking. All rooms are non-smoking. Free WiFi and internet are available. The shower temperature can be tricky; instructions are provided.
